Today I find myself worrying that I spend too much of the day on my book support and boutique consulting work, and not enough time running my household. But I love it! (And there's a lot of laughter in my home, so I shouldn't be too hard on myself.)
Whether its time spent doing general boutique & clothing store consultancy >>>, answering all the e-mails from customers who have bought my book on how to start a boutique or researching the latest trends in the fashion and retail industries, I thoroughly enjoy it all and that is why I do it.
I have also spent a lot of time over the last 12 months writing the second edition of the guide and completely updating it in every section. It went from 36 pages to over 150 pages! New spreadsheets were added, and supporting graphs included. Interactive Excel spreadsheets that update when you use your own figures were added.
And as I see new things at the mart, or take great new questions from clients, I continue to update the ebook regularly.

Today I continue to visit market week at least once a year. My favorites are the Las Vegas Magic Show, the Las Vegas GLDA gem and jewelry show and the Los Angeles Apparel Mart Market week.
This truly keeps me abreast of the fashion world including trends, designers, colors, fads, markets, sales representatives, magazines and European and celebrity influences.
It is very fun for me and it keeps me up to speed on everything.
I wouldn't want you to buy my book and be left out on a limb, all alone. I have had the attitude, since writing the first book on how to open a boutique, that I would always offer ongoing support to my readers.
You can always email me >>> with your questions and problems, and I am also available for boutique business consulting as of October of 2007.

To help you keep ahead of the game I also send regular Special Reports >>> that deal specifically with anything that will help you run your boutique business. New lines and designers that are worth looking at, new fashion trends, great financing ideas, new products, suggestions for employee relations and incentives.
Just anything that I see, read, hear or think of that I know will help you better run your store. So be sure to sign up for the special reports!
I feel very fortunate to have graduated from the University of Southern California Business School, one of the best in the country. I feel privileged to be able to pass on what I learned there, during my time operating a very successful boutique in California, and my time mentoring others since then.
Very soon I will be starting an online boutique business support forum >>
I'll keep you posted in the Special Reports
